- Pool Details Chart – Do you know if you have the resources to add to another project? Can you see potential resource bottlenecks? To support resource planning decisions, Accolade 17.0 now offers a new chart on the Pool Details page that shows the remaining pool availability by month, so you can quickly determine your capacity for additional work
- Request a Resource – Can you ensure that the best role or resource that you have in mind is assigned to your project? The Plan Project page in Accolade 17.0 now includes the option for project managers to request a resource based on company-defined attributes. Resource managers will be able to consider these requests when assigning the needed resources
- Plan Project Features – The Plan project page in Accolade 17.0 has been enhanced with the ability to filter projects by resource attributes, so users can quickly return matching resources across all pools to better support their resource planning. Accolade 17.0 also includes the ability to see hidden projects to help users gain complete visibility on all project assignments
- Resource Planning Project Tab – To support your project planning decisions, Accolade 17.0 now includes a new Resource Planning tab at the Project level. Project managers will be able to request and plan their resources directly from the specific project. Multiplier and demand curves are included to make planning and adjusting demand values faster with more accuracy. The Resource Capacity and My Work pages have also been adjusted to show requested demands
- Timeline View – Do you have a high-level view of your resources over time to assess if you have optimal project coverage? In Accolade 17.0 resource capacity and demand displays were added to the Portfolio Planner Timeline View, so executives and portfolio managers can compare project demands against pool availability in any time period — “at a glance”. To help assess and manage near and long-term capacity planning scenarios, color-coded views are included to visualize progress and surface any resource issues
