New Functionality & Enhancements
For integrated Accolade projects, Acclaim Projects now allows you to manage multiple Accolade Del/Act by Stages in fewer steps
Previously, to manage multiple Accolade project Deliverables and Activities in Acclaim Projects, you were required to individually select each item. With this release, Acclaim Projects has the ability to select multiple or all deliverables and activities within an Accolade Stage in fewer clicks to manage them in Acclaim Projects, making the process much more efficient.
To do this, open your connected Accolade project's Online Project Editor in Acclaim Projects, navigate to the WBS tab, and click on the hamburger menu to the right of the Stage you want. Select Manage Stage in Acclaim Projects, and within the dialog box that opens, select or deselect items as you wish.
Note: Accolade is an optional component you may not have access to. To implement this solution, contact Sopheon Customer Support.
Acclaim Projects now records multiple financial metrics in Acclaim Projects, reflecting Accolade financial metrics accurately
Previously, when an integrated Accolade project's financial metrics were sent over to Acclaim Projects, the system recorded these details in one row. With this release, Acclaim Projects splits the Accolade financial metrics into multiple rows, allowing you to view these entries with more clarity, in separate lines, as they were to appear in Accolade.
Note: Accolade is an optional component you may not have access to. To implement this solution, contact Sopheon Customer Support.
You can now view Task-Level and Project-Level Custom Attributes in the Resource Hours Report
With this release of Acclaim Projects, users can now add Custom Attributes to the Resource Hours Report, allowing for more useful information to be viewed at once.
To ensure the columns you want appear in your report do so, if you have the appropriate rights to edit Custom Attributes, locate and select the Show on Timecard Report? check- box associated with each Custom Attribute you require, before generating your report.
Acclaim Project now has default columns set when exporting your Timeline to a PDF Document
With the last release of Acclaim Projects, you can export your Timeline grid to a PDF doc- ument. In this release, we extend that functionality to help you produce a cleaner doc- ument by setting defaults to your export. Now when you export your Timeline grid, your PDF will only include the rows and schedule visible on your Timeline, as opposed to all details cluttering your file. These defaults can be adjusted as desired via the Export to PDF dialog box.
Acclaim Projects now allows you to create new items from a project's Timeline
Project Managers can now create new line items for a project, directly within its Timeline. Previously, you would need to switch to the WBS tab to do so.
Note: If a project is a standard project, you can add tasks and phases. If it is an agile project, you can add user stories and tasks.
To do this, open the Timeline tab of your project's Online Project Editor, right click on an item in the appropriate position of the grid, click on Add, and create a new item as needed. These will be reflected on your WBS as well.
Bug Fixes
Fixed issue that allowed forms to save when mandatory Custom Attribute fields had not been filled
Previously, some forms on Acclaim Projects would save, even if details in mandatory custom fields had not been entered in. This has been rectified in this release of Acclaim Projects, and now behaves as expected, prompting users to fill any empty mandatory
custom fields before saving.
