Sopheon plc, the international provider of software and services for complete Enterprise Innovation Performance solutions, announces that it has been informed by Euronext that following a strategic review, it intends to wind down the Alternext Amsterdam market by the end of the year or as soon as possible thereafter. This decision has also been announced to markets by Euronext itself. Euronext has stated that it will consult with affected issuers to discuss a potential move to Euronext Amsterdam or to other Euronext markets.
Sopheon’s Chairman, Barry Mence said:
“We are disappointed by this news, given that we moved to Alternext from Euronext little over a year ago, and were encouraged to do so. We understand that Alternext Amsterdam will remain active at least through to the end of the year. We will therefore monitor and evaluate the situation carefully, in dialogue with Euronext, before concluding on the implications and informing shareholders accordingly.”
